The primary function of the Lead Cook is to make sure the highest quality of food is served to customers at all times. Main duties include: preparing hot foods, side items and cold food items for customers. Cook to order methods are used when applicable. Other responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and following food safety standards at all times during production. You are expected to follow proper portion control sizes, placing food items in proper holding warmers, coolers or freezers and proper food handling controls, including rotation of product. The Lead Cook is able to prepare hot foods as well as cold, salads, beverages or any other food service needs.Assist management team in all phases of the operation.
