  Project Coordinator

  Sales and support of a technically challenging product line for a high-end manufacturer.  During my tenure there I provided support to our sales team and to our worldwide network of dealers/installers on all aspects of product pricing and performance.  Reviewed requests for custom product applications and prescribed solutions to fit the requirements.  Value engineered commercial and large residential projects to help win the job in competitive situations.  Functioned as resource to dialogue with architects, designers and engineers to educate them on our products and assist them to specify our products correctly and incorporate the products in as many projects as possible.  Also provided training internally for other employees in the department and served as the go-to contact for other departments who needed product and sales/quotation information.  Served on cross-functional teams to oversee projects that required special approaches or custom solutions.

  Assist the quoting and processing team in the shades department by performing contract review, technical review, and customer contact to resolve outstanding questions or revise quotes.

  Owner

  Worked as a contractor building outdoor construction projects, such as decks, railings, arbors, etc., and indoor improvements, such as bathroom construction and remodeling, basement finishing, and various types of rough and finish work. I crafted many of the designs for these projects myself, compiled bills of material, priced out costs and estimated time to complete. Also, I worked as a sub-contractor to an HVAC company performing installations in new construction. As sole proprietor, all aspects of the business recordkeeping and all dealings with the clients and contractor were my responsibility.
