SCHAS is hiring caregivers to serve seniors in their homes in Sevier County.

Senior Citizens Home Assistance Service, Inc., (SCHAS) is a 49 year old 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization whose mission is to help seniors and the disabled stay in their homes and provide respite and peace of mind for their families with kind, trained, in-home caregivers.

We are looking for people who are kind, compassionate, dedicated, trustworthy, responsible and are looking to make a difference in their community; who love helping senior citizens. 

Caregiving duties include traveling to clients’ homes, providing light housekeeping, personal care, meal preparation, shopping or running errands and companionship.

Applicants must be 18 years old, have reliable transportation, a valid Tennessee driver's license, current auto insurance, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and all background checks.  Applicants must  maintain client confidentiality at all times and have excellent professional and personal references.

We conduct extensive training upon hire. We offer compensation for travel time, continuing education in dementia and chronic disease, competitive wages, 401k,vacation & sick time, insurance, and time and one-half on holidays.
