8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Weekends Required)

Job Summary:

The Houseperson will report directly to the Executive Housekeeper and is responsible for the linen, trash and floors of the guest units within the resort. The position requires a certain amount of physicality.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Deliver linen bags for designated units
  • Strip designated units of linens, towels, and trash
  • Deliver inventory to designated units and respond to guest calls as needed
  • Keep designated floors clear of linen and trash throughout the shift
  • Designated floors must be cleaned before the end of shift
  • Complete all daily tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Close cart rooms at end of each shift
  • Stock supply cabinets and cart rooms
  • Supply linen for room attendants as needed throughout shift
  • Clean house person linen cart at end of shift

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent 

Required Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude
  • Self-starter
  • Willingness to learn

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis
  • Ability to crouch, stand, twist, push and pull throughout the work day.
