Maintenance Technician – Full Time

Day Shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm 

$17.00 / Hour (Weekend Availability) 

Location: Gatlinburg Town Square by Exploria Resorts

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Maintenance manager and will be responsible for guest-related calls and repairs as well as nightly assignments assigned by management.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Performs guest room and public area maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, and painting.
• Check on all guest room electrical appliances, including refrigeration controls, television sets, and lighting systems, making repairs where necessary.
• Provides guest room service/repair status to the front desk and management.
• Completes hotel room and building repairs such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, and painting.
• Performs repairs on toilets, sinks, laundry facilities, kitchen, and other hotel property.
• Respond in a timely, courteous manner to guest questions, complaints, or requests.
• Completes preventive maintenance checklists
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC knowledge (preferred).
• Attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

• Standing for a prolonged period.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
