Job Overview

You are often the first and last interaction our guests have when coming to Cracker Barrel. You set the tone with a warm greeting when they come through our doors and send them off to enjoy their day with a “thank you for coming and come back soon” attitude. Our hospitality shines through you and tells our guests: “Welcome to Cracker Barrel, welcome home!”

We are expanding the breadth of the merchandise in our stores—shaking up our seasonal displays nearly 40 times a year, with more than half of our 3,000 retail SKUs made up of an ever-changing assortment of special finds. You will be the subject matter expert on these products. While guests wait for their table, our retail sales team members will assist with answering questions, helping to find unique, fun products, and achieve unit sales goals.After the meal is over we will make sure guests can check out quickly and leave with a smile. When not interacting with a guest, you will assist the Retail Manager in setting new product displays, and keeping the store looking its best!

To be successful in this role you must have a guest first attitude that exudes hospitality. You will need to be able to stand for long periods, carry up to 30 pound boxes, use creative solutions to solve guest concerns, and work effectively with co-workers and managers.
