Serves food, beverages, and desserts to customers in a fullservice fast food restaurant, request customers order, serve customers in ahospitable and professional manner to insure they are satisfied with theirdining experience, ring up and give customers their guest checks, monitor foodquality, clean table after customers are
gone, complete assigned side work.
Overview of Tasks:
Serve customers using Shoney’s Signature 10 step procedure,greet customers with a smile, take customers order, (assist in answering anyquestion pertaining to menu the customer might have), call/turn order intokitchen, may prepare fountain drinks, serve foods quickly and in a friendlymanner, make sure customers have everything they need to complete their meal,give customers their guest check, put guest check in numerical
order at the end of shift, clean assigned station, do assigned sidework,maintain cleanliness of work area, assist with salad bar duties when ‘needed,comply to all rules and regulation set forth by Shoney’s.
Essential Job Functions:
Visual, auditory, hand dexterity, full body mobility, basicreading, coordination, friendly smile, able to follow instructions, must beable to lift up to 20 Ibs., basic math skills, hand/eye coordination, must beable to communicate with customers, must have good eye contact, must be able tokeep a fast pace for a period of time, must be able to read, must be able tofollow instructions, must be able to write customers order, must be able tocall customers order into the kitchen, must be able to balance a tray offood/drinks, must be able to do assigned sidework, must be able to use cleaningsupplies, must be able to satisfy customers dining needs.
