Job Overview
The Stockroom Associate receives transfers and maintains back stock on all merchandise. Maintains a positive company image by courteous and professional in all situations.
Essential Job Functions
*Receive new merchandise
*Process new merchandise
*Total contents of truck and report results to corporate controller
*Prepare transfers and return to vendor merchandise for transport
*Prepare and process mis-mates
*Clean and repair minor damage to merchandise and return to the sales floor
*Record and send out damage goods
*Perform other duties assigned by management
*Bending, stooping, lifting (up to 50 pounds) and standing for long periods of time
