Wine Sales Representative

Job Overview

Beverage Control Inc. is seeking to add an aggressive Wine Sales Representative for the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg Tennessee area. Sales are in the Grocery Chain Division and are business to business oriented. Results will rely heavily on candidate’s ability to quickly build relationships and dedication to servicing accounts. Compensation may be based on combination of commission and performance based bonuses.

Requirements for consideration:

– Desire to sell and capacity to create professional presentations

– Good personal organization skills

– Availability to work outside 8-5 schedule, as many accounts will be accessible best in early evening hours and occasional weekend events

– Be self motivated/disciplined, goal oriented, timely, and have the ability to prioritize

– Be able connect well with large range of buyer types

– Professional written, oral, and electronic communication skills

– Must possess a reliable car, valid TN driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a good driving record

– Have ability to lift 54 pounds from the ground and above 60 inches

– Be able to taste and smell wine and spirits

– Team player attitude and actions

– Must be eligible for a TN Wholesaler’s Representative License

– Prior sales experience

– Grocery Chain knowledge/experience preferred
